RIP, can your mate pick everyone up from our house?

I will have some stuff that will need to go with you (chicken, meat, cookies....) and it may be easier to get everyone in one place! Also, I'd like to say hi to everyone before they move off as I'm not going smile.gif

Honest answer is I don't know.

I haven't actually spoken to him myself about it yet as he's a very busy bloke running a community bus all day and I only managed to get it sorted because my gran talks to him every monday at the bingo when he's dropping off the old biddies laugh.gif

I took this into consideration when sorting it out, don't worry smile.gif he knows I want us to be moving out between 5pm and 7pm and that I'd get back to him on what time people are landing to sort everything out.

Well this sounds by far the best option for me, so put me down for a seat. As said I'll get to the airport around 17, so should be able to make the rendevouz in time.

Neo, how's your visa coming along? Have you booked tickets yet?

Work in progress. No reason it shouldn't happen.

Many cheap tickets abound. I'm assuming I'll have to make it sometime at noon to make it to the mobilization point by 5-7?

If you haven't got a lift sorted and want a seat on the minibus then yes you would have to make sure you land in Newcastle by 5pm-7pm smile.gif

You'll be at Dawg's place at that time, so I'll have to land sooner, because I'm sure it'll take some time to get through passport control and out of the airport and to his place, no? I'll try to find flights that land some time around noon, just to be safe. I'm assuming I'll have to take a taxi or some sort of public transportation to the meeting point? (Dawg's place that is)

I don't know where the pick up point will be just yet. Everyone is more than welcome to land at my house this time round if they like as I live right next to the metro station which I would imagine would be a lot easier for those coming by train / plane since there is a metro station built underneath both central station for those coming on train and a metro station built undernearth the airport for those coming by plane. I would meet you at the metro station, take everyone to ours for a quick bite and a bit of chillaxing before we head off (this may also be a lot easier for the guy taking us since he lives just around the corner)

If you think you will be stuck at the airport Neo then yes I would suggest coming a little earlier. I wouldn't mind what time you land as I'm up from 6am with Jake anyway tongue.gif

I don't mind picking up and dropping off people who are flying in. I already said I would pick up UP and Fennie. I don't mind getting Neo as well. As long as the people flying in can leave a message of when their flight is, I don't mind picking anyone up. I only live 10 mins away from the airport so it's no hassle.

I wonder if the driver wouldn't mind making 2 pickups if people don't have time to go over to Northumberland Park. To get to Kielder you HAVE to go along the A69. We could arrange for people to be waiting in the bus stop (there's on on the A69 just off the A1) ready.

If there's time, however, it'll of course be easier to blast over to Rip's on the metty. I was just thinking about carrying all the drink/bait/bags. It might be a bit of a hassle. I suppose wor lass could drop us, or we could get a taxi.

We should make a timeline of the day and people can post what tim they get into Newcastle. It'll be dead easy to arrange the day that way.

I shouldn't imagine it will be a problem because he's a canny bloke but I don't want to confirm anything without speaking to him myself. It would be funny as hell picking up 13 or so people on the side of the A69 in a small minibus.. it'll look like we're running an immigration operation or something across the border blink.gif

If you lot coming to newcastle post your arrival times then we can get this shit sorted tongue.gif

Anyone else wanting a seat?

If you're coming with people on the list ask them if they want one.
