Do I have to do anything to unlock them, or will it know? I dont seem to be about to activate it anwhere. Also. Yes, I know I can't drive. kthx. Also. Do you need to get level 1 everything before you can get level 2 something? My unlock scores seem shot to pieces Under the multiplayer tab on the main screen, there's an option to 'redeem codes'. unlock scores unlock kit for whatever class you are playing. -------------------- ▲ ▲ ▲ There, the crevasse, Fill it with your mighty juice. |

Yes, I know I can't drive. kthx. heheh nicely anticipated Had a good time playing with you guys and was good seeing some =THOR= names ingame together for once I actually started to understand wtf was going on for a bit there rather than just runing round like a headless chicken We also did pretty well considering for the most part we were outnumbered As for your question Andy - playing a certain class such as assault will open up the items for that class. Some of them better and some of them not so good. The next weapon on Assault is far better than the first you get.. but then the one after that is not so good..and so on Always be on the lookout for picking up weapons of dead people on either side.. some of the experienced players carry round some pretty nice kit and you can use it too! I had the good fortune to pick up an m16 (or it could've been an M60 can't remember which) with red dot sight last night and it was waaay better than anything at our level. I think this is my least favourite part of the game. The fact that at level 0 (or 1 as I am now /flex) level 15 or 20 or whatevers can pretty much snipe me or mash me before I even know they are there. It's not detracting from the enjoyment though. When I say 'least favourite' it's in perspective, as this is just an awesome game. When it works. See you on the battlefield soldiers! -------------------- Fenga Papit.

The original sniper gun is considered by many to be the best in the game. So with some classes there are clear advantagaes and with others not. As far as I can tell being level 20 doesn't give you THAT much of an advantage. Having said that I have nfc what its like being level 20. -------------------- "The Forum's Kronenbourg member. What is it about a sniper rifle that turns my aiming into an exercise in inneptitude? It's the same in MW2, put a decent scope (like an acog) on a semi auto rifle like the FAL, and I'm awesomesauce, but give me a bit more zoom and I'm pausing on my shots and putting my shots to the left and right of people and all sorts. Anyone else find themselves in a similar situation? -------------------- "Often opinionated, and possibly quite intelligent. Has his funny moments."

so does this work now? thinking about getting it, but you lot have put me off with all the problems your getting. i still have issues with punkbuster on COD4.... load of wank. It worked nearly flawlessly (one crash) from 11pm to 4:30am or so (!) tonight for me The original sniper gun is considered by many to be the best in the game. I just unlocked the fifth Sniper gun (GOL Sniper Magnum), and that one does slightly less damage, in turn can fire a lot more often and is slightly more accurate. I'm not sure whether it still kills enemies in two body shots (edit: yes, it does), and I'm not really used to how much its bullets drop yet, but it looks really neat as well. Indeed out of the the intermediate rifles, I've only used the SVU Snaiperska short a bit with red dot sight, but failed at killing stuff with it. Get more distance If you see people move back and forth quickly in cover and can't get a good shot in, or see multiple packed enemies, just order mortar fire instead I have a question of mine as well. It seems that I have the defib unlocked with the medic, but I have not found out how to equip or use it. Anybody can help? Ask the bastard who ressed me 5 times in a row next to an enemy sniper. Idiot. You cant accept or decline it, you just pop up, unexpectedly, and get killed again. Awesome! Also, which class is sniper? I like that idea. -------------------- Fenga Papit.

When you select your kit, the defib is under gadgets. I guess you would press 4 or something to use. Its also a good close combat weapon ^^ -------------------- |

You'll just have to install it again once the server browser is sorted. Or are you taking a stand and never playing it again. Did you try the single player mode? Was it any good? -------------------- |

Still cant get in, same errors.
Seriously is there an actual fix for this? Im this close <-> to simply binning the disc. Any help? -------------------- QUOTE Theres one picture in the 2nd ed rulebook, a bunch of Orks hanging off the side of this crazy looking wartruck as it hurtles headlong into battle, bits of it coming apart at the seams, with them whopping and grinning as they shoot off all manner of crude, experimental weaponary. I dunno if it works yet, but I think you can see if your friends are playing in servers and you can just click 'join game' and join theirs. If you're having a PB error, just have a look online for fixes. I'll try and find some later for you. What you're experiencing now is what happened to me when I played Warhammer. I almost smashed my PC up. -------------------- |

I found this possible fix if you're having connection troubles.
QUOTE Run the game via the updater (C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2/BFBC2Updater) and you may be able to join multiplayer games by doing this.
I tested it, and it was the only time I was ever able to join any online games. I hope this helps some of the people having problems. -------------------- |
